Midnight Theatre is an ensemble specialising in bringing storytelling back to its roots, producing a range of intimate theatrical productions in a variety of venues, aiming to appeal to the young adult and student-based audiences.
It all started when a group of students from Hereford, UK decided they wanted to independently create theatre on their own terms. Bringing together a range of original writing and pre-written works, they formed Midnight Theatre and produced a high-risk but ultimately successful summer programme, kick-starting the company in a big way.
The core components of the company consist of directors and co-founders Matt Owen and Jo Moore, alongside producer George Kirby and writer Joel Moore as well as a varied range of actors and performers.
Now into their second summer season, Midnight Theatre is significantly expanding, taking on an original musical and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
